Software solutions of Malaysia’s Silverlake Group will be used during introduction of ID cards in Uzbekistan, which will contain all information about ID card holders, company director Redzuan Kushairi said at a business seminar held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.
The Information Technologies and Communications Ministry and the State Personalization Center will administer the process of introduction of identification cards.
Silverlake Group Sdn Bhd plans to set up a digital economy center, which will unite mobile money transfer, online payment of state services.
The Malaysian company will set up a joint venture with the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan.
