Reader Digest Trusted Brand Awards 2018 1

Malaysia’s most trusted brands and household names took centre stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the annual Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards held last night at the Grand Hyatt in Kuala Lumpur.

Two local personalities who have won the hearts and minds of Malaysia consumers are: local model turned Malaysian household name – Neelofa, winner of Most Trusted Entertainment Presenter, and recently making waves in Hollywood – Henry Golding, winner of Most Trusted News Presenter.

Over 2,000 people in Malaysia – both members of the public and Reader’s Digest subscribers – participated in the study, providing a genuine market endorsement for those topping the polls.

Thousands of consumers across Asia – including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and the Philippines – were surveyed by leading market research company Catalyst on their attitudes and perceptions of brands across 50 categories of products and services.

Gold Trusted Brand Awards were given to products and services that led the polls in their fields, while Platinum Trusted Brand Awards, recognised brands that vastly outpolled their competition.

Winning brands in Malaysia were a mix of local and international names such as King Koil, Marigold, SP Setia, Knife, Canon, Yun Nam Hair Care, Kleenex and Maybank.

From tyres to hospitals, paint to household products, the Winners’ List at: www.rdasiatrustedbrands.com is a snapshot of Malaysia’s consumer commitment.
