Axiata and iflix Make Live European Football Available in Cambodia

Axiata Group Berhad (Axiata or the Group) together with its operating company, Smart Axiata and digital entertainment partner, iflix announced a ground-breaking collaboration to deliver the best in live sports mobile streaming to iflix customers. In the first initiative of the partnership, the companies will co-sponsor iflix’s agreement with beIN Sports to make live access to premier European football available to iflix subscribers in Cambodia, expanding on their collaboration to bring the best entertainment to Smart’s subscribers.

From this August 10, iflix subscribers in Cambodia will be able to enjoy virtual front row seats to Premier League and Spanish La Liga action via the newly launched 24-hour beIN SPORTS 1 and beIN SPORTS 2 channels on iflix, with catch up available for matches. Additionally, same day match highlights for all Premier League, La-Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 games will be available in a beIN SPORTS branded zone to users for free.

Through Smart’s exclusive partnership with iflix, Cambodian football fans will now be able to enjoy these live matches by subscribing to Smart StreamOn 2, StreamOn 8 and Smart@Home.
