Human Resources Minister M. Kulasegaran says proposals to resolve the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple scuffle have been presented to the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Tuesday (Nov 27).
“(Unity Minister P. Waytha Moorthy and I) briefed him on what has happened and the proposals that we have.
“No firm conclusions were made, but the Cabinet will be briefed on the matter and the final conclusion will be made by the Cabinet.
“Obviously, I can just tell you there are many good and positive news, subject to the Cabinet,” he said, though he declined to elaborate further.
He reiterated that the “status quo” will remain and that the temple will not be made to relocate, until a win-win solution is found.
