Huawei Mate 20 Series Beats iPhone and Samsung to be the Fastest Charging Phone

Huawei Mate 20 Series Beats iPhone and Samsung to be the Fastest Charging Phone 1

Smartphone battery life is one of the most important considerations for consumers using high-end phones and can influence the decision to purchase one brand over the next, more so than the look and feel of a device. Consumers want their batteries to last all day without recharging so they can enjoy uninterrupted access to apps, to check work emails, play online games or for taking endless selfies.

Impressive Battery Power in A Sleek Smartphone

Huawei innately understands this and has focused on providing its devices with the enduring power that has become synonymous with the Huawei Mate 20 series. Each phone provides super-charged battery capacities without making any of these devices any thicker than their predecessors.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with an impressive 4,200mAh battery with smarter AI power management, the Huawei Mate 20 has a 4,000mAh and the Mate 20 X comes with a 5,000mAh battery. By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 only comes with a 4,000mAh battery as standard, and the iPhone XS comes with a 3,174mAh battery.

Huawei SuperCharge

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro series supports the TÜV Safety Certified 40W Huawei SuperCharge. This German testing and certification awarded to the charger means you can charge your Huawei Mate 20 Pro quickly and safely. The fast-charging technology can charge the Huawei Mate 20 Pro to up to 70 percent (or 2,940mAh) in 30 minutes, with accessories that just come with the box. The iPhone XS on the other hand takes 30 minutes to charge up to approximately 50 percent using a 30W charger, which is sold separately.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro also adds 15W wireless charging to its repertoire; the feature adds about 30 percent (equivalent to 1,300mAh) to the device in a 30-minute charging session. All of this makes for an attractive choice for consumers who are constantly on the go and need a dependably fast device. It sets it apart from Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 that only offers consumers Qi wireless-charging at 7.5W versus Huawei’s super-fast wireless charging at 15W.

Huawei Wireless Quick Charge

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro also introduces a ground-breaking wireless reverse charging technology, which enables the smartphone itself to work as a power bank for other wireless charging-enabled phones, including the iPhone X series. It works by the consumer activating the wireless reverse charging in the battery section of the Android settings and then placing another wireless phone requiring power, on top. A great charging option on the go when helping a friend or coworker that needs to make that urgent call or if there are no electrical outlets available.

Time and time again, the Huawei Mate 20 Series proves itself, with its super-charging abilities, to beat the iPhone and Samsung when it comes to the fastest charging mobile devices.
