The newly-launched HONOR View20 proved to be one of the most sought-after devices of early 2019, as more than 1,000 units were swept up rapidly by Malaysians during its sales launch roadshow in 1 Utama last weekend, 26 and 27 January 2019.
The HONOR View20 debuted in Malaysia at HONOR’s biggest roadshow to date, selling at RM1,999 (6GB+128GB) in stunning Sapphire Blue and classic Midnight Black colors, and RM2,499 (8GB+256GB) for the elegant Phantom Blue color which was co-designed with Moschino.
The earliest 200 customers scored themselves a free unit of the newly launched HONOR Watch Magic and backpack, whereas the subsequent 800 customers walked away with a new, stylish HONOR Band 4 and backpack.
Similarly, another hot-selling device, the HONOR 10 Lite which was launched in January, debuted in sexy Shiny Red and sleek Sapphire Blue in 3+64 GB variant during the roadshow. Both colors are available at RM799 and the first 1,000 purchases will bring home an HONOR Band 4 Running, a limited-edition HONOR Water Bottle and air purifier.
The launch of the HONOR View20 created significant buzz among Malaysians, which prompted Lim, a student from Tunku Abdul Rahman University to queue outside the venue since 11pm the day before. When asked what made him wait in line for 11 hours, the enthusiastic Lim replied: “I really like the 48MP camera on the HONOR View20, which was the main reason that made me decide to purchase the device. Also, I lined up early so that I would not miss the free HONOR Watch Magic gift. I made certain that I would be among the first to grab this deal.” Lim purchased the HONOR View20 and HONOR 10 Lite high spec edition, and returned later in the evening to purchase a second unit of the HONOR 10 Lite high spec edition.
