Penang leads again in its Smart State initiative with first deployment of Gigawire Terragraph technology from YTL Communications.
The Terragraph pilot project, the first of its kind in Asia right here in Georgetown, clearly has received extremely positive response, especially with its broadband speed of 170Mpbs, which far exceeds the average speed of 15Mbps in other cities in the world.
Penang again is proud to announce another historical milestone that is the deployment of Gigawire technology paired with Terragraph, which will enable buildings with existing copper wire cables in all buildings in Penang and throughout the country receiving faster broadband service.
