Showcase the Bitdefender Box but Bitdefender only gives away their software instead of a free Box. This would've been the perfect time for Bitdefender to give away a handful of these devices to drum up the hype.
We know your IOT was on separate network, so this whole thing is just an AD. But okay. I was looking forward to see your IOT.
More likely, I would like to see an IOT video like.. guide, or..suggestions. Maybe some overkill. Simply house set up to be smart. From light bulbs, through the doorbell and alexa (or whatever) to the brainz
Linus: "Let's terminate tunnelbear's sponsorship because they were bought by an antivirus company" Also Linus: "Let's ask bitdefender for a sponsorship"
The only relatively smart things in my home are my smartphone and me. I'm a software developer. I know how we do things and I don't want any unnecessary smart thing in my home. Mechanical > Smart.
Did uhhh…. did Linus see the Asian man sitting in his closet.. is that his son? is his kid like 30 now?

You can add a lot of security options in that arduino powered garage door opener.
Linus:
Sees all these points of entry into his home network.
Doesn't see the guy hiding next to his server.

What's with the white 'halo' effect around everything on your monitor? Is that just effect on camera or wierd local dimming effect? Looks odd.
Fckrs who dislike every showcase video can just ignore the video if it hurts your petty mind for every sponsored vid.
Imginge paying for anti-virus software in 2019 xD

Nestcams can’t be hacked easily. But since Google owns nest it’s basically worse than getting hacked.
It's a hardware firewall running their paid subscription software. You may as well roll your own for way less.
I'd have assumed that a channel called "Linus Tech Tips" would have discussed this. But obviously the remit for this channel is "Linus Sales Tips".
PC: Uses 20gb of RAM with nothing intensive in the background
Linus: This is fine
Am I dreaming or didn’t Linus do an entire video on how insecure nest cams are? I’m confused.
*Unsecure
NetCat in Linus' home server
next video:

Jesus, what's that hole in your arm Linus?
