honestly ? I know it's all about technical prowess and how small we can get but who gives a crap about thin and light ? I feel there was a point where it wasn't "needed" anymore but they kept going (stands for smartphones too).

Am I missing something? Why not just use the Audio Return Channel to feed sound from the TV to the Audio System? Is it not possible to use ARC output when you're using a DP input?
And here I am still using CRT TV from 2003. Feelsbadman.
