The OnePlus 8 has a HOLE?!

The OnePlus 8 looks like it will be VERY different from the OnePlus 7T and Pro. Do you like it? Would you want a curved hole-punch OLED screen?

  1. I'm a aOnplu fan but I hate curved edges and any kind of holes in the screen!! Have had the Oppo Reno 10x zoom for a short while and that was a super nice phone, giant cool screen without any holes or cutouts, elegant selfiecam solution. Too bad it has some weird quirks with apps requiring special permissions and ColorOS isn''t bad but isn't good either. Oneplus 8 should have been something like the Oppo Reno 10x and not the way they are heading now…

  2. Are people a fan of these videos that are more speculative? or do you prefer the reviews of products that are actually available?
I personally prefer the reviews. I'd love to see a review of the new XPS 13 2 in 1 with the 10th gen chips.

  3. Really disappointed if this ends up being true. OnePlus was a shinning light after I got tired of samsung's aesthetics/ecosystem.

  4. Since I don't own any OnePlus device I don't know what your beef is about concerning the leaked information about the OnePlus 8. A phone is a phone. Some of them seem much better than others, but with no reference material to speak of I'm going out on a limb and saying the curved screen is just a screen. What I do own, for now, is a Samsung Galaxy s10. And its curved screen is alright. As soon as I qualify for the one year anniversary upgrade I'm switching to the Note 10.

  5. One Plus is like that one guy in class who copies someone elses homework and get good grades.
Common One Plus, be innovative, try out new stuff… This is basically a Galaxy phone.

  6. Looks like OnePlus is grabbing whatever designs/panels are cheapest from suppliers, if this leak turns out to be true.

  7. What's the difference between Samsung and OnePlus? Samsung Pay. Samsung Pay beats everything and until American businesses finally start using mobile payment terminals (maybe like the mid-2030s at the rate we're going), I'll continue using Samsung Pay where I can use my phone at almost literally anywhere to pay.
