can someone help me, my ram is running at half speed and i havent been able to fix it
The BIOS says the RAM is running at 3200mhz like it should be, but once I boot up my pc, task manager says the ram is running at 1600mhz. If I change my ram speed in the bios, the task manager continues to show half speed. Once the change in speed happened, games started popping up with errors, freezing, and crashing shortly after boot. I have also tried resetting the bios to a preset where the ram ran at the correct speed, but no luck. Thanks in advance. motherboard: MSI B450 PRO-VDH Micro ATX AM4 cpu: Ryzen 7 1700x OC base clock to 3.9 Ghz ram: G Skill Ripjaws V Series 2×8 DDR4-3200mhz if you have any other questions let me know.
I love how CPU's became what "Muscle Cars" once were! Linus go's home, plugs his 1000 mile to a watt car in and fires up "Thread Ripper" and eats what he saved in electricity in a cine' bench!
The nextgen intel architecture will probably come out of nowhere and smash these though. Im sure they have been sandbagging us in the past with their incremental releases. Almost no changes from a 2600k to a 8600k, just die shrinks etc
Intel when are you coming with comeback coming 1st and 2nd quarter of 2020 Xeon w-3300m and Intel i11 10th gen processors Xeon with 256 cores and 512 threads under just 110 v And intel i11 10th gen with ASUS z400 series chipset 64 cores and 128 threads
Interesting that when AMD is finally on top they start doing more pin changes causing new mobo requirements.. But I guess when your winning you can do whatever you want.
3950X, failure to launch… not available anywhere…….

my once a decade new build we go from INTEL i5-750 !!! to AMD 3700x
i expect at least a 15% faster pc

nice to see AMD cutting out their niche.
AMD savages… Kicking Intel while it's down
8 Gamers 1 CPU?????? Lol i wonder if you could put enough RAM to run the VM program off of it but that doesn't sound possible to me
WE NEED BENCHMARKS

I've been cheering for AMD since the mid 90's when I was just a teenage lad. Really excited to see them winning.

AMD wins since 5×86 🙂
Well, that’s Intel in the bin then.
Remember when everyone was calling Linus an Intel shill?
amd is releasing everything except the rx 5500
Oof, those numbers.. They hurt my eyes. These CPUs are clearly the best value for working professionals.
Easy fix on upgrade price, if you have a registered second gen threadrpper under warranty, you get a 20% discount to upgrade to 3rd
So after losing for 15 years amd is finally winning ? 🤷🏻♂️

Ok, comment section, we can't wish Intel away. We need intel to exist to make sure AMD doesn't get too big of a head. Competition is a good thing.
1:12 2990WX has 64 threads, not 48, right. 32c/48t doesn't make sense
It would have been great to throw in a Xeon Workstation processor with comparable price.
I'm confused is there a mistake at 4:51 and 4:21 the Ryzen 3950X is called Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9. which one is it?
i am so proud of amd
You need money to buy this which I don’t have.

The only winner of intel-amd war, are the customers
Quite an impressive processor… Now just need to wait till they go on sale at a 50-75% discount to justify the cost
Next video amd threadripper 3999x on December 1st
i'm on devils canyon i7.. time to go!
i want to swap!
Can we have like a dictionary for computer-related words that Linus says here? Cuz I can't understand half of it
"Landing Grid Array" 2:20
amd cpu are cheap but the motherboards are getting expensive
In the end, competition is a beautiful thing
1:18 The 2990WX has 32 cores and …. 48 threads? That doesn't seem right…
2 new CPU release videos in 1 days, it's Christmas!
Competition breeds excellence. I hope Intel responds well, and AMD stays motivated to crush. Better stuff for everyone.
I came here with the consideration of buying Threadripper 3 but I’m leaving with the thoughts of purchasing LTT store underwear.
