My Sony Walkman NWZ-A845 had ANC with included ANC buds like 8 years ago. Yeah fine this is a better design than those but stop pretending that suddenly Apple innovated… They're just good in-ears. Kinda-magical and those terms are just a bit of a bullshit.

How are they for conference calls or making outbound calls? I’m looking for clarity in voice quality. Currently using the Sennheiser MB 660 which are decent but still on the hunt for the best wireless headphones. “Best” being call quality as #1 priority.

HOW CAN SUCH A THING JUSTIFY NON-BIASED REVIEWS?
Sony WF-1000XM3 are still noticeably better. Better sound quality and ANC(it also uses inner and outer microphones). It has better battery life even with ANC on compared to off on the Airpods pro. It's less expensive. It supports way more and better bluetooth audio transmission formats such as LDAC and APT-X. Even though the buds and case are larger, the case is still pocketable just like the Airpods Pro case and the buds cut a flatter profile on your ear. This makes sleeping or laying your head on another surface while wearing them much more comfortable. I applaud apple's attempt here and they are way better than the original airpods(which were god awful for someone who cares about sound in the slightest), but they are definitely playing catch up compared to Sony, Cambridge Audio, and B&O. In typical Apple fashion, they have made a solid overall product that isn't the best at anything or even close to the best overall, but they price it as if it was. If you have an Iphone, the Pros are a great option just for some of the software based creature comforts. If you don't, they are honestly a complete waste of money compared to the Sony WF-1000XM3, the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1, and the B&O Beoplay E8. Hec, even with an Iphone, each of these are either straight up better(1000xm3) or simply better for the money.
They make products that are at best on par with competition one or two years later than anyone. The only thing the make better are headlines
