Apple Outs Third Beta of iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, tvOS 13.3.1 & watchOS 6.1.2

Apple released today the third beta of the upcoming iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, tvOS 13.3.1, and watchOS 6.1.2 software updates for all supported iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices.

Kicked off last year on mid-December, the development cycle of the iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, tvOS 13.3.1, and watchOS 6.1.2 software updates has returned to its normal weekly release schedule and the third developer beta is now available for testing a week after the second beta, which arrive on January 14th.

Application developers enrolled into the Apple Developer program can now install the iOS 13.3.1 beta 3 (17D5050a), iPadOS 13.3.1 beta 3 (17D5050a), tvOS 13.3.1 beta 3 (17K5795a), and watchOS 6.1.2 beta 3 (17S5796a) builds on their iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices dedicated to beta software development.

New public betas coming soon

As expected, new public betas of iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, and tvOS 13.3.1 should be available for public testing in the coming hours. We’ll update this article when public beta 3 of iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, and tvOS 13.3.1 are available through the Apple Beta Software Program.

Apple didn’t release a new beta version of macOS Catalina 10.15.3 at the moment of writing, but we’ll let you know as soon as it’s out. Meanwhile, we can tell you that iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 include a fix for a bypass issue with the new Screen Time Communication Limits feature.

The final iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, macOS Catalina 10.15.3, tvOS 13.3.1, and watchOS 6.1.2 releases are expected to hit the streets sometime in February for all supported devices running iOS 13.3, iPadOS 13.3, macOS Catalina 10.15.2, tvOS 13.3, and watchOS 6.1.1.
