Since it seems to be a common question: Our testing was done with the new VBIOS as shown at 1:55.
when Linus calls the gpu in the pc you bought last year for aging oof i felt that.
I love all of these videos but not gonna lie the hilariously awful segues are my favorite part of them.
i would love to but my wallet is starving
How much of an upgrade would something like this be over my 5 year old 780Ti?
Now I feel kinda bad for having picked up a 1660 super a month and a half ago… Coulda got this. Ah, well. I was building an entirely new computer, couldn't really wait a month and a half to complete it!
and the budget champion GPU is……
Used RX 580 for 100 dollars
Watching this and remembering that my pc pumps 15fps on minecraft XD
Meanwhile me with my 960 trying to play Iceborne
aaand here is my vega 64 looking at me: "Bruh…I'm hot and i suck a lot of energy. Deal with it."
I'm surprised that Anthony's side eye roll didn't knock Linus down at 2:40😭
AMD is the way to go. CPU and GPU I think are just better to go with. Equal if not better performance for a much better price. Why go with intel and nvidia?
I bought a rtx 2070 super not the amd card
I hope you know what kind of gem you have got with Anthony. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure everyone there is top shelf, but people on Anthony's level are few and far between. I'm not saying that you need to kiss his a$$ or anything but make sure that guy always feels appreciated, valued and adequately compensated. He truley makes your videos a better experience and I enjoy everyone I see him in. Id like to see him in a scrapyard wars competition. No groups.
Used 1080s go for like $300, so there's that.
Will this bottleneck with the ryzen 5 2600?
Please do some DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere benchmarks against the 2060 KO and 5700
RX 5600 XT costs 530 dollars in my country.
In my country. Rtx 2060 306€ and rx 5600 xt 322€.
Why not just get a 2080 ti
In India trusted online retailers like amazon still price (non super)RTX 2060 at 450$ when converted from INR to USD. And even the GTX 1660 Super is priced at 290$ when converted from INR to USD, This is the pricing after the price drop from NVIDIA. Most of the computer hardware here is costlier as compared to North American countries.
Is Linus flexing a panerai in the thumbnail? Lmao
hmm time to think about it
"treat yourself" yeahhhh…..
just cancelled my corsair h150i pro order 😀 waitin for Z 73 to go down a bit on price
Fight must go on between AMD and NVIDIA until the prices of the go down under 100 bucks.
the gpu that made linus think about retiring
Anthony looks like a big version Norman Reedus! xD
I'm using a gt 1030 because its good enough to just edge out modern consoles lol
Why is he so fat, it is very unhealthy!
I jumped from 8600GT to 560ti to 1050ti so perhaps I'll change my gpu in 3-4 years, still great to see AMD waking up to fight Nvidia
Since the 1060 is basically on par with the RX 580… I guess the 5600XT is a worthwhile upgrade. Or go for the 5700XT?
Linus is better not to cough too much at times like this
I actually got one…. It is way better than I expected.
Really tempted to grap a 5600xt to replace my gtx1060. BUT many of the customer review's aren't so good, a lot of driver issues supposedly. Is this a real issue or just something newbs struggle with because they suck at maintaining a healthy PC. AMD drivers have always worked for me in the past just usually not as smoothly as nvidia's.
