Lew, keep in mind that (i dunno what happens if you chain them) all of those were spittin out the MONO signal in witch case a good portion of audio i believe is simple 'not there' due to the lack of spatial image of those tracks You've played.
I recommend – since You have 5 of them – put two on the left channel, two on the right, and one in mono – i assume that You will have to 'rewrite' You initial experience with those monsters 😉
