So many people (hearing people) always do the typical three with all fingers EXCEPT thumb and pinky. That, is actually how you say the letter W in ASL.

lol im still using my 1st gen i7 980x extreme edition cpu and my dell ultrafine 3k 30 inch monitor. i have only upgraded the GPU to a 1080gtx and the ram to DDR3 dual channel. And everything runs normally. Lightroom and Adobe suite still runs like a dream, games have no issues running at 3k with settings on medium/high, I get an average of 60 to 80 fps. Back in the day before i7 came out i was upgrading my system every 6 to 8 months, nows its been 11 years using the same system.
okay what uses 8k at present looking at current gen consoles they battle to 4k hdr the home theater space hasn't even got to 8k I suspect the next gen consoles are likely going to improve on the 4k standard looking at the quadrant delivery of 8k at present you aren't going to be seeing it in less than 65 inch to 85 inch with a sweet spot at from a console perspective there isn't much on how they are going to handle 8k as an asset management system looking at the content install to get to 4k/4k hdr
we have been needing consoles to support large format hard drives since the release of the ps3 and ps4 and xbox next gen on the way I hope they have an option to mount the thing in a pc chassis and give us the option to run high capacity hard drives and raids, with 4k you might only get 4-5 games on the system under 4k hdr under 8k resolution 2-3 based on up to a 4TB sate/nvme ssd
looking at the console storage consumption on modern current gen systems 1-4tb isn't going to be applicable for long term storage we are looking at raids with upto 14TB storage options
though I am still wondering how they are going to handle 4k hdr and later 8k on the next gen consoles????
I would love 8k in the home though other than tv what else supports the format sad to 65 inch can easily be done here however I don't have the space for it same with the stuff between 75-92 inches
upto 40 inch displays may look impressive at 4k though from my experience 4k hdr at 32 inch okay at periods of less than 20 mins anything longer than that 4k hdr is a headache in a half waiting to happen my happy medium why waste cash at 144 Hz when you can get 200Hz at 55 inch for half the price..

Hey kid, would you recommend that LG for a solid buy for a 17” laptop? Would you have any others you might pick ahead of it. Thanks.
I first liked 17” because of the 10-key, I have gorilla hands so a bigger keyboard is much better and bigger is better.
I NEED a 17” because during one of my back surgeries, that went as sideways as is possible, I had a Stroke on my left Optical Nerve. Now it actually OVER healed. Neat trick, right? Unfortunately it took about 10 months and in that time, the muscle that keeps my in the right position for stereo vision atrophied and sagged 3mm. So each eye focuses on a slightly different plane. To correct that I have wear glasses, goodbye contacts and any future lasix, that have microscopic prisms in them. This bring my eyes into the same plane. My eyes get tired quickly, so the 17” is better for me.
I have a Dell 17” now, but its time to replace it, and after what they did to me, never again a Dell. Which sucks because I’ve ONLY ever had Dells.
So what do you say, man with a plan⁉️⁉️ Thanks in advance for time‼️‼️
