Games should be cheaper! You drop how many hundreds of dollars to your console and you triple that with buying games for it down the line
Doesn't sound like the amd 3300x is worth getting if you're on a budget imo, i have an old fx8350 that sounds like it is going to perform about the same at 1/3 the price used, only real problem is mobo compatibility if you want to upgrade to the higher spec cpu's like the 3600 or 3950x being am4 while fx series is am3/am3+, in that case if I wanted to burn some money I'd just dump it into 2080 ti until I want to upgrade to am4 for a 3950x. My fx8350 is easily 6 years old(10 year old design) and can run pubg just fine at 5.0ghz.

I and most mac devs continued supporting PPC well into 2012. Being screwed on your PPC mac is something that I've never heard before; I'd like to know more about his story and what mac he actually got. We continued shipping fat binaries; contrary to what alyx seems to have said is that macOS was not actually designed for intel. Apple moved away from PPC as the xbox 360's PPC cpu got much more attention from IBM than apple did. Something they probably regret to this day. Additionally for the emulation part; Apple has something that a developer can enable called bitcode. They actually can compile an ARM (or x86) application to one or the other. There are some limitations to this tech ( like no ARC and thus Swift ) but it wouldn't be impossible for them to fix these issues either before they release anything.
Facebook is now the arbiter of what is true or not. That's what bugs me.

I'm getting rid of my computer with a 1080 and a decent i5 for a console for gaming when it comes out. it better it easier to use. the community is better. And if the console under 800 in Canada good luck building a pc that can keep up. For 800 candian cash. And have RT and 1 t nvme
