My 2017 Shield TV has been awesome. So fast, controller support, and all the good apps on the google play too: Kodi, VLC, X-plore, RetroArch, etc. and all the usual streaming services.

I know you're only reviewing the media aspect of this device, but you could have done a small summary of what else it can do. For instance, running emulators. I've heard that works pretty well, and for that reason is even more worth the price.
