  1. No hard drives are no dead. 8tb Hard Drive, £178.00, Sabrent 8tb SSD £1,800. Some of us are not rich and/or have extremity expensive hardware sent to them. Mr show off!

  2. To be honest, it would be more accurate to say that in addition to the right tools for repairing your equipment, you also need the right knowledge and instructions. Thankfully this is, often, also provided by iFixit on their website. Don't know why this isn't in their talking points.

  3. Ngl I havent watches this channel in a little under a year cause I've been Busy and not as interested in tech but I come back to what I thought was a fucking caveman

  4. SSDs are expensive, especially when most of your game library is 3TB, and you still have more to download. HDD are my only option as I’m not rich lol

  5. Well for the price of a big 3.5 HDD and small 2.5 SSD from 5 to 10 years ago, you can have a small nvme with a big 2.5 SSD today. I would say it's just a matter of years

  6. There's only 1 or 2 onboard M.2 slots on motherboards. Until that changes without add-in cards, SATA isn't going away any time soon.

  7. This is not for standard consumers. This is for work usage and for the love of god I wish my work would transition from our ancient hard drives to something of this nature to handle all our CAD storage at work.
