If you like android so much , the answer to your gallery and app issues according to me is a pixel device and not a ios …because android and ios are totally different and if you dont like ios or rather to put it this way that you like android more, then pixel can give you a solution.

Until a year ago, my family was using apple products and Playstations. Those 2 combined made my whole family very spoon fed with the tech experience. Until last year I asked my parents to let me buy a pc so starting with that experience I tried to switch all of my current daily drivers away from apple. I switched my mac to run bootcamp, formatted my hdds to ntfs instead of exfat, but I couldn't resist sticking with my iphone for the reasons he said. I dont usually write comments like this, but it definitely hit home.
I agree with everything you said. I use to be strictly Android. But I switched because all of the reasons you mentioned. Also the Apple Watch series 4 was a pretty big reason why I switched. I feel like the older I get the less I want to tinker with my phone. With Android I was all about playing with my home screens and changing icons and crap. Customization was one huge reason why I lived Android. Now I feel like it’s just a waste of time.
