  1. Last of us devs: *spend years developing hyperrealistic graphics, game mechanics*

Linus: *plays a game with less polygon count than a bullet in last of us*
    this is pretty decent

  2. I'm from the Commodore 64 era. Did a lot of 6502 programming back in the day. Having a baremetal system gave you so much freedom. I wrote a GUI interface for the C64 similar to this using text boxes with the ability to launch your own programs 🙂 Amazing job he did writing his own OS.

  3. I just got PTSD from Linus at the beginning. There's always that one manager or person in an office who doesn't see you all day, catches you for 2 seconds doing something with no context and says 'working hard or hardly working'

  4. I kind of like it but then I keep getting the urge to write a Unix for the C64 so I may be biased. It's interesting that, like the C64 going into BASIC on start, he has his C-ish language that runs everything from the command line.

  5. This is amazing what he did. About the mental conditions I think that doing grandious project over 10+ years could cause that or he is bullied by somebody with a lot of power. It's sad

  6. It looks like the guy that created it was genius. Too bad he didn't work on Linux, I bet he could've created some great stuff for Linux community.
