The COVID-19 pandemic presents us the opportunity to accelerate digitalization where we focus our efforts on increasing digital access, and opportunities to all levels of society, ensuring that no one is marginalized from opportunities. This can be achieved by leveraging on industry leaders’ expertise and embracing new technology innovations to enhance the education ecosystem, nurture interest and produce multi-skilled, digital ready talent,” he added.

“Huawei believes that it is our responsibility to utilize our resources and technology to support the Malaysian government in bridging the digital divide and in developing ICT talents for future jobs in a digitized world,” said Chow.

“We believe in the power of technology to make education more accessible and inclusive, allowing everyone to benefit from quality education. By digitizing schools through the TECH4ALL initiative, education is no longer bound to the traditional classroom. The schools in Indera Mahkota will now be able to run smart classrooms with high-quality education resources, for students and teachers to grow their digital skills. We hope to partner with the government to expand the reach of this initiative and to help advance the nation’s digital transformation through education technology,” he added.
