  1. 4:00 LOL past Linus coming to destroy future Linus' argument. Isn't "Titanium" pronounced exactly the same than "Tietanium" though? That's the problem with especially American English. Highly illogical bastardization of many languages coming together in a corrupted form. oh well, could be worse. Could be Australian or South African or Jamaican English…

  2. A great way to hold your 8k Red and take the strain off of the camera man for repeating shots or repetitive placement (like the wan show stream). When not used for that teach it table tennis/ pingpong/ whiff whaff.
I'm just thinking about how Brandon could use it for a rotational shot that pans diagonally downward or spiral down an object for b roll as it can hold its arm attachment in the same place or path as the body walks around.

  3. Turns out, Epic Games had a huge stock deal going with Sony…. yep… yep… Couldn't possibly be connected to that Epic Games guy statement about the PS5 eh? . . .nah! of course not!

  4. I'm pretty sure the Titan series replaced the x90 tier card? So they went from 680/690 to 780/Titan, and then just added the Ti version of the x80 card in between (Ti was already a thing for other tiers). The x90 cards weren't really optimized well for gaming, just like the Titans aren't either. Also, the x80 Ti wasn't more than 30% faster than their x80 counterparts, yet the 2080 Ti was over 40% faster than the 2080. The Super series should never have happened, that's what the original cards should have been but Nvidia screwed everyone over by charging higher prices for less, and then were forced to release the Supers in response to AMD.
Going forward I don't think they'll release a 3080 Ti AND a 3090, unless there won't be a Titan. Nvidia will never do 3080, 3080 Ti, 3090 AND a Titan. One of them will have to be left out.

Also, there's no way there can be GDDR6X yet. They've been on GDDR5 for 6 years before moving on to GDDR5X. They just started on GDDR6, it's too soon.

  5. Am I the only one who thinks the reason why the show started breaking up mid-way is because Linus has a zillion freakin’ tabs opened in chrome and simply started to run out of RAM?

  6. I can already imagine how the terrible the pricing will be in Australia.

RTX 3090, if it $1200 USD then just 2x it and $2500 AUD. Soon enough it’s going to break $3000 pricing if they get even more expensive.
