If anyone is wondering what is the 47.515°N and 122.833°W pointing to in the joke panel of the splash screen : It's the real world location of Tiger Lake
I want to build an 185 hz gaming pc, but I am having trouble on what to get since it is a budget pc. It would be wonderful if you could help me pick some parts out.
multicore performance doesn't matter for most, so yes cinebench is shit. Single core speed on the other hand does matter for what laptops like that which Intel clobbers AMD in. I use a thin light laptop for work every day, and my employer would never buy anything other than Intel. For damn good reasons.
If I could double the life of my machine by leaving 10% of the possible performance on the table, I'll do it. Hell, when it's running on what power my solar can generate, I'll leave 50% in reserve. Once, during a very lean time, I ran a software business quite comfortably on an Asus EEE for a year so it's not like there's not a lot of slack.
actually, that integrated gpu is a game changer if you use quicksync because it will perform closely to a weak dedicated gpu but ON BATTERY MAN. I'd still get an amd though, I'm sorry I waited for Intel to show something to get 4 cores again, after… 10 years?
I think it's pretty cool, that intel improved integrated graphics. There are tons of laptops, without dedicated graphiccards. They're cheaper, have less weight and in most cases longer batterylive. For me, this is what laptops are all about. But in the past, when i wanted to game on it, i had no real chance to do so. Now that it's finally possible to get both is pretty awesome. Ofc it can't be the fastest or best, but in combination it's on top right now. I now wait untill AMD comes up with the same performance and buy their stuff 😂
It'll all come down to the pricing of products using these. Great that Renoir get so much more (total multithread) performance, but if you don't need it and it's more expensive, Tiger Lake is the better choice. And I mean actually need/use, people take at things like raw core count number at a far too high prio IMO
PC BUILD CHALLENGE: FROM A BROKEN GAMING LAPTOP, TAKE OUT ITS COMPONENTS, INSTALL AXIAL FANS W/ BEEFY HEATSINKS(CPU & GPU) AND FIT THE ENTIRE THING INSIDE A CONSOLE BOX(or a really small case). THAT'S WHAT I CALL A PORTABLE MINI GAMING BEAST!
Short version: Get an AMD lappy with an Nvidia GPU.

I liked Doom’s story
Did trump make the titler of the video? so many dots ffs
If tethering your benchmarks is so trivial and pathetic then it shouldnt be a problem to smoke AMD. Too bad they still cant

Please help me my laptop won't let me install any Nvidia driver
p.s. can you please open microcentre in NZ, thank you.
searched gmaps for 47.515 and 122.833, it seems washington "Tiger Lake"
ThinkPad T14s with Ryzen <3
Hopefully next round AMD buys more TSMC allocation… shows they were not so confident on Zen2 mobile vs Intel.
Intel sucks
7:18 I love how he calls them 'imitators' yet can't pronounce niche properly
What a prick
Too bad it's gonna be overpriced

I thought you were done with the clickbait titles and thumbnails?
The segue chart had me in stitches.
That scene at 12:58 is a nightmarish fever dream that nobody should ever watch high.

I'm so lucky that you are medical experts.
And almost every clip you put on your fake face mask. 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪💀☠

Eyyyy the co-ordinate at the beginning points to tigerlake
this, then 3 years down the line I'll get an external gpu for Thunderbolt. that should keep me going on a reasonable budget for a long time.
2 shoutouts to GN in the video. Love it
5:30 linus pronounced it the british way! linus is partly british!
Heh, Tiger Lake… Nice
Intel Literally said: "Let's make apple regret introducing the Apple Silicon" XD
0:09 It look just as impressive to me. Just not a pretty. Like a Noctua NH-D15 v.s. a Corsair RGB AIO.
i like women
1:40 What is with the Location?
Oh… Tiger Lake…. -_- 'ha'
