  1. I disagree with your opinion of the Twitter ticket system. The second ticket was probably triaged by a part time worker. Since he is a public figure, they probably want a senior moderator to make the decision, as it's a matter of being seen to stick to policy.

  2. I gotta laugh every time Linus says he's talked too much. He literally can't help himself. The man can not stay quiet for more than a few minutes lol.

  3. How is this bad if AMD still has a whole bunch of very fast and lower relatively priced then Intel processors? Even if Intel takes the lead in cutting edge consumers still have AMD.

  4. Not only the hardware can improve. Look at the M1, how much performance can be gained when abandoning x86.
Also on a fundamental level like how you store numbers. Some time ago I discovered a concept called 'posit' for storing higher precision floating point numbers, with efficient methods for adding and multiplication.
There are a ton of ways make stuff better.

  5. I have a WordPress account, a Tumblr, an Instagram, a YouTube, do I get money for links to my stuff? Am I a media company? How about Best Buy, why don't they get money for getting linked to? The government can't define who is and isn't news, that's wrong.

Should advertisers also pay the company they are advertising for the right? Put some adds on your site and get money anytime someone clicks there. You want to fuck that up? How about those outrageous click bait ad-infested malware site with the slideshows, now they get money from the sites linking to them. A link tax is wrong, it's backwards.

  6. We all pay for it one way or another, don't we, Linus? Putting dishes in the washer is one of the cheapest forms of payment.

For once I agree with Google. News media get a major benefit from being linked in Google searches. Why should Google pay for providing them with greater visibility? It's the same nonsense that has plagued cable TV for decades. Commercial stations want the cable systems to pay them ever-increasing fees for the privilege of the stations reaching a wider audience and charging their advertiser clients more. Makes no sense at all.

  7. Lol, it's so funny that every week linus forgets about the sponsors in the intro, the people literally responsible for paying for this show to happen 🤣🙄 and then he says it like "oh dang it! I forgot to do the sponsors THIS WEEK…" No linus, it's every week. And it makes for a good laugh 😂😉
