How to sell something on kickstarter/crowdfunding: Make claims and tell them you're working on it when the client gets the product
Would a freesync monitor be best for series x?
Just waiting on an hdmi 2.1 monitor for my Xbox series x.
This is why I never have, and probably never will, back a kickstarter.
they pushed it back to April…smh

If you're a tech company and have to resort to crowdfunding, you might want to reevaluate your business.
I constantly see this company's ads on Facebook. Their 4k 144hz display with hdmi 2.1 has been advertised for about a year now and would've been great for the next gen consoles that require the hdmi 2.1 port for 4k 120hz. After checking the comments there a few months back they have seemingly delayed the release of these monitors for months now. If I had ordered one of these and was waiting on my monitor I would ask for a refund immediately if at all possible. With LG and ASUS coming out with comparable monitors this year that would be the better option (a reputable brand).
So it's the PS4/xBox One Cyberpunk 2077 of Monitors.
Watching this on my beautiful LG27GN850 monitor. Is there a reason anyone would even consider this monitor hahahaha
and to think I almost pre ordered one of these a month ago before someone warned me of their previous problems.
“WE’RE GOING TO DISRUPT THE INDUSTRY” “(Hey LG can we haz panels)” Scamstarter just be scamming every day.
@linus tech tips video suggestion: review full comparison of the XIAOMI MI CURVED 32 UW with g7 g9 etc
Send a terrible "pre production" unit to a youtuber to review…. Great idea!
So a terrible screen,got it
I’ve heard that line before “Lets talk about that”
I’ve been burned twice by Kickstarter. It’s usually three strikes you’re out but I’m completely happy stopping at two.
I like how he said January and they corrected it to January
Why not just buy an LG???
Eve spectrum been doing promo for this monitor for the past 2 or 3 years and this is what they produced. Feel sorry for they people who actually pre ordered this trash.
So they badly repackaged an LG.
You'd think ill learn from hype. Pre-ordered cyber punk and eve fml.
All these "disruptive" companies actually prove that good old regular companies already offer products at competitive prices.
Seems the only thing they can ever accomplish in price cutting is either quality cutting across the board, or abysmal quality control where you really don't know what you will get.
I'll just keep buying from LG or Asus or whatever
So glad I didn't preorder this. I kept seeing their Facebook ads all over my news feed every day for weeks, they almost got me.
glad i canceled my order of this ages ago
I asked for my 100 dollar refund. They replied with something saying "just wait." And then when I replied with no, refund me please… they stopped replying lol.
3:30, is linus hating on DisplayPort? Is there something wrong with DisplayPort? I always thought it was superior to HDMI.
My Gigabyte G32QC is pretty nice, 1440p at 165hz. HDR10 but average in brightness, 350 cd/m2. But it's good for gaming and great color reproduction.
Zisworks has been selling 27" 4k panels that run 4k120hz, 1080p240hz, 720p360hz for many years. They have a kit for 39" VA panels with the same specs. Not forgetting they have Scan backlight with true blur reduction
What is baffling to me is that neither company name or product are in title…how much did that cost them?
They just pushed their release date back AGAIN …
I remember seeing their ads on Facebook since last year in January. They would originally promise it to be ready by q3 2020 lol
I would get their ads literally every week because Facebook knew I was clicking on the ad and reading the comments. It always came off as too good to be true.
LG paid this dude 2 million dollars YES US DOLLARS to do 2021 CES PROMO…lucky gay
imma start a kickstarter for an adblock that works on LTT videos
