  1. The Asus ROG is a clear winner IMO, active cooling on a phone is a deal breaker for me. The added moving part + dust build up just isn't worth, also it has the best balance of other features.

    Still, that price is insane

  2. I like the high end specs of the gaming phones. I'm not sure I really care about the gaming part that much. What prevents me from even really considering them is that I'm unsure of their update support (how quickly they will implement Android updates and for how many years).

  3. i just dont get how you can game on a phone its so small and the games are so downgraded to run on a phone that i will never see how someone can game on one

  4. I chose the Redmagic 6 Pro. Pairing it with a Gamesir X2, and using it for emulation. I have absolutely no interest in “mobile gaming.”

I spent like $830 for the controller and phone, an 888 is everything I need to play thousands of retro games.

  5. So funny that mobile phones are more powerful than the nintendo switch. What a truly garbage console. Sony should make an xperia play 2, it could run more games than the switch 😂

  6. Legion Duel deserves respect but I think ASUS several generations in on a gaming phone have it very well polished all around so I think it wins, despite the hurtful price.

  7. But why do they exist? Who is actually gaming that long on a phone? The cost of these phones you could buy a decent laptop or desktop.

  8. Don't think I would personally buy a dedicated gaming phone. But if I were to choose out of these three I'm going with the Asus ROG phone. You didn't even touch on the crazy amount of accessories it has! That alone makes it an easy win for me.
