Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn. Bhd., a leader in consumer electronics retail, has joined forces with Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and APulsar Technologies in a strategic partnership aimed at boosting the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country. This collaboration introduces Huawei’s state-of-the-art EV chargers into the Malaysian market, setting a new standard in the nation’s clean energy journey.

Scheduled for unveiling on 22 March 2024 at Senheng’s Setia Alam store in Selangor, these EV chargers are a testament to Senheng’s dedication to reducing Malaysia’s dependency on fossil fuels and leading the charge towards a more sustainable lifestyle for Malaysians. This initiative is part of Senheng’s broader commitment to embracing technological innovation and environmental stewardship, providing Malaysians with advanced solutions that support a greener future.

Lim Kim Chieng, President of Senheng Electric, shared his enthusiasm about the initiative, highlighting it as a step towards promoting a sustainable lifestyle change among Malaysians. Huawei’s FusionCharge AC chargers, comprising a 7kW single-phase and a 22kW three-phase model, are designed for easy installation in homes and businesses alike. These chargers represent the forefront of EV charging technology, offering a quicker and more convenient charging solution for electric vehicle owners.

Huawei Malaysia’s Vice President for Digital Power Business, Chong Chern Peng, underlined the critical role of this collaboration in meeting the rising demand for electric vehicles in Malaysia. He stressed the importance of accessible EV charging solutions in supporting the automotive industry’s shift towards electric vehicles.

Justin Kao, Managing Director of APulsar Technologies, also expressed support for the national EV initiative, highlighting the collaboration as a pivotal move to make EV charging solutions more available and affordable. APulsar’s commitment to providing professional installation services and technical support ensures a seamless and efficient charging experience for EV owners.
