Bagan MCA division has expressed disappointment with the Penang free WiFi service provided by the state since 2009.
Bagan MCA treasurer Sum Yoo Keong said although the state government had spent RM8.5mil on the service, “the speed is slow and does not benefit anyone”.
“Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s claim that one can just turn on one’s computer and access free Internet at any time and any place in Penang is just a claim,” he said.
